Mrs. Diana Aleshire, Preschool Administrator
Mrs. Aleshire started out at GCA teaching Kindergarten in 2000, the first year the school was open. Before that she worked in the Columbus Public School System. She is a member of Genoa Church. After 18 years of Youth Ministry, she and her husband have changed gears and now teach elementary Sunday School. Her favorite verses are Proverbs 3: 5&6. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
Mrs. Aleshire’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends, going to B & B’s with her husband, crocheting, and thrifting.
Mrs. Vicki Hankins, Pre-K5
Mrs. Hankins teaches the afternoon 5 day pre-k class. She has been with GCA for the past five years. She graduated with associates degrees from Wytheville Community College and Virginia Highlands Community College. Mrs. Hankins, her husband Jeff and their two children attend Genoa Church. They reside in Westerville and enjoy traveling, boating, watersports. Mrs. Hankins also has a passion for photography and art.
Mrs. Becky Pyles, Pre-K4
Mrs. Pyles teaches a Pre-K 4-year-old class. This is her fifth year at GCA. She has lived in Columbus most of her life except for a few years in Endicott, New York where she taught in a Montessori School for four years. Mrs. Pyles attended Judson College. She has three grown children and is the very proud Nana to her two grandchildren. She attends the Karl Road Baptist church and loves to travel, read and shop.
Mrs. Kathy Smith, Pre-K5
Kathy Smith teaches the morning 5 day pre-k class . She has been teaching at the GCA preschool for 10 years.The year Mrs. Smith and her husband Todd will celebrate their 20th anniversary. They have a 16-year-old daughter who attended GCA for 8 years and is currently a junior at Mt. Gilead Christian School. Mrs. Smith is currently taking classes through Vanguard University in Early Child Education. Her family has been members of the Genoa Church for 15 years. They enjoy going out to eat and to the movies, and traveling.
Mrs. Holly Wilson, Pre-K4
Miss Holly is in her sixth year of teaching at GCA and is currently teaching a 4-year-old preschool class. She loves working with the children and watching them grow, and enjoys working with all the teachers. Originally from the Huntington, West Virginia area, Miss Holly now resides in Sunbury with her husband Rodney and their two children. In addition to teaching, Miss Holly also operates her own silk floral business, and is a member of the Vineyard Church of Columbus..
Mrs. Janelle Willison, Pre-K3
Miss Janelle is in her third year teaching at GCA and teaches a 3 year old preschool class. She graduated from Columbus State with a degree in Legal Assisting. Miss Janelle resides in Sunbury with her husband Mark with their three children. They attend Westerville Christian Church where they sing with the workship team. Miss Janelle enjoys watching her son play football and her eldest daughter run cross country.
Mrs. Pam Wolfe, Pre-K3
Miss Pam has been teaching at GCA for seven years and currently teaches 3-year-old preschool. Pam graduated from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. She has three children currently at GCA and one child at Westerville Central High School. Miss Pam has been a Christian for 23 years and loves to pray for and with people. She and her husband Michael have been married for 18 years and reside in Westerville. Miss Pam enjoys excercise, skiing, and going to the beach with her family.
