Pastor Craig Bartley, Middle School Principal

Mr. Bartley grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Columbus to help plant churches in the downtown area. He has been married for 13 years to Mindy. They have two children. In addition to his position as Middle School Principal, Craig serves as the Pastor of Sports and Recreation at Genoa Church.

Mrs. Beaubein was born in California, but has lived in Colorado, New York and Ohio. Her passion for art has been a constant in her life. She is married to Daniel and has two daughters, who are both GCA graduates. This is her second year at GCA.

Mr. Bossley is in his sixth year as the GCA middle school science teacher. Prior to his work at GCA, Mr. Bossley taught outdoor environmental education for 11 years in the Mohican area. When he is not at GCA, Mr. Bossley spends his time working out physically at Power Shack Gym, mentally in the classes he is taking for his doctoral program, and spiritually in his prayer and Bible study time.

Mrs. Hecker has been married to Kevin for 22 years and has a 18 year old son and a 14 year old daughter. This is her second year teaching at GCA.

Lisa O'Connor has been with GCA since January 2002. She teaches middle school math and coordinates RenWeb, student testing, and curriculum. She has also created the costumes for the school musical each year. Lisa earned both her B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from Miami University. Since that time, she has worked in retailing, medical research and education. She ejoys travel, reading and puzzles. She has one child attending GCA and two children at Westerville North.

Mrs. Smith teaches Middle School Social Studies (6th-geography, 7th-Ancient history, 8th-US history) and has been teaching at GCA for four years. She graduated from Ohio Valley College in 2005 and is working on her Masters in Education. She coaches girls volleyball and directs the Middle School Spring musical. Her hobbies include watching football, playing the piano, saxophone, and bass clarinet, and singing on her church's praise team.

Mrs. Voigt teaches English in grades six thru nine. This is her fifth year of teaching, and she has had the privilege of teaching at GCA for all of those years. She lives in Gahanna with her husband, Scott, and her two cats, Maya and Ophelia. Her daughter, Kaylee, is a freshman in college. She attends New Life Church in Gahanna. In her spare time she loves to take long rides on her bicycle. She also loves to watch her beloved Indianapolis Colts play football!

Mrs. Wilt lives in Lewis Center with her wonderful husband and their lovable zoo of three children, ages 10, 8 and 6, two dogs and a cat! This is her 3rd year teaching at GCA where she teaches fourth-grade recorders, fifth-grade band, Middle School Concert Band, Middle School Choir and Music Appreciation.

Mark Kannenwischer was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan,

Canada

. He graduated from Concordia College with a degree in sports management. Six weeks after his graduation he married his wife, Susan. Mr. Kannenwischer returned to Concordia to obtain his teaching certification. He acted as assistant soccer coach to Concordia’s men’s and women’s teams. After moving to Ohio, GCA asked him to teach sixth grade and coach soccer and basketball. Mr. Kannenwischer currently acts as Athletic Director , teaches middle school Bible and grades two through nine Physical Education. He received his master's degree in education administration from Grand Canyon University during the summer of 2007. He has two children who both attend GCA.

Mrs. Angulo has a four-year degree from Coker College in Hartsville, SC. She attended Amistad of Xalapa Bible Institite in Mexico and Evangel Cathedral Bible College. She is married and has two young boys.
